Phi Kappa Tau is founded on the principles that emphasize a democratic organization, innate worth, and Christian ideals.  The Alpha Lambda chapter strives to attain these ideals along with those of being a southern gentleman.

The Alpha Lambda chapter of Phi Kappa Tau holds numerous positions on campus such as IFC cabinet, IFC court, Young Life, IMPACT, Plainsmen, and Army ROTC. Through fundraisers, such as our annual Easter egg hunt with several sororities for Project Uplift, we are to donate thousands of dollars  each year  to charity such as our national philanthropy The Hole in the Wall Camp.

Realizing the importance of winning awards such as the Maxwell Award for best Phi Kappa Tau chapter in the country and the All Sports Trophy in the past, we also hold a busy social schedule.  Our fall calendar includes: band parties, socials, fall formal, "High Society Party," and our annual Christmas party.  In the Spring we have our Spring Formal, usually held in New Orleans.  The spring semester ends with our annual week long called called "Margaritaville."

At Phi Kappa Tau, we believe in the bond of brotherhood.  This bond is built throughout pledgeship and continues to grow throughout the Auburn experience.
