Rush Information

Greetings,

Phi Kappa Tau fraternity congratulates you on your admittance to Auburn
University. As an incoming freshman here at Auburn, there are many ways to get
involved on campus. The Greek system continues to serve as an important and prominent
aspect of campus life. As you will learn during your orientation session, a majority of
leaders throughout different student body organizations on campus are also involved with
Greek life. The brothers of Phi Kappa Tau would like to enhance your college experience
by giving you the opportunity to experience a fraternal organization that prides itself on
the principles of brotherhood, citizenship, and character. Phi Tau offers its members
lifelong friendship, leadership opportunities, and an avenue to succeed in academic and
philanthropic endeavors. What sets Phi Tau apart, however, is its dedication to
developing individual character within the context of brotherhood. Character is what led
Phi Tau's four founding brothers to create the organization in 1906, and building men of
character continues to drive this Fraternity into the next 100 years.

The brothers at Phi Kappa Tau would like to get to know you better in a more
casual, laid-back atmosphere before formal rush begins in the fall. It is known that
the best way to make the right decision for your future fraternal life, is to get to know as
many brothers as you can. Understanding what our fraternity can offer you, as an
incoming freshman, allows you to think about what you could offer to the brotherhood as
a whole.  Please do not hesitate to give one of our rush chairmen a call to find out
more details.
